Company History

More than eighteen years ago, the principals started their careers as executive search specialists in the voice and data communications industry. After much success, they decided to start their own firm in New York City. In 1989, The Worth Group was founded. The Worth Group has now grown into a nationwide search firm. Our corporate office is located in Atlanta, GA. We continue to maintain our presence in New York and have since opened additional offices in New Jersey and Florida. The Worth Group continues to grow, as does this dynamic and ever changing industry.

Our Principals

	Brett Buckwald - Atlanta Co-Founder Brett has worked in the executive search business since 1986. Brett's area of expertise lies in all facets of the communications industry. His focus continues to be on seeking out the most talented individuals for management, sales, technical support, and contract positions. Brett possesses a unique talent for understanding his clients' needs. The Worth Group's foundation has been built upon Brett's ability to develop meaningful professional relationships.

	Mike Pennetti - Atlanta Vice President, Renewable Energy Mike joined The Worth Group as VP/Renewable Energy after a 20-year career in journalism. He uses the fact-finding and interviewing skills honed in his previous field to ensure TWG clients are presented the finest possible candidates for their specific needs. Areas of expertise include solar (PV, thin film, CSP, thermal), wind, geothermal, biomass, biofuels and carbon management/finance.
